love Jeff Beck. One of my first concerts, mid-70’s with Jan Hammer in the Paramount.

I’ve heard that Steve Stevens still tours with Billy Idol and puts on an extremely impressive and wide-ranging exhibition of his virtuosity every night.

Little known grunge factoid: In the late 80s Steve Stevens tried to recruit Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell to be the singer in his solo act.

I wholeheartedly agree, Dave. Jeff Beck is the most melodic and innovative of the “guitar gods.” He has awesome technique and great sound, but best of all is his taste. He also reminds me of Nigel Tufnel.
